Charity Texas Hold’Em Tournament

The GamesAid Charity Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament is now a mainstay at the annual video game industry Develop Conference. The no limit tournament will be held on July 19th at Grosvenor Casino in Brighton, UK, and is open for registration now with a 50 pound buy-in. The tournament will pay out 300 pounds to the winner, 200 pounds for second place and other prizes for third, fourth and firth place winners.
All the proceeds will be channeled to children's charity GamesAid. The following day, the industry will come together for the eighth annual Develop Industry Excellence Awards, which is Europe's most respected games awards event. Brighton-based game studio Relentless is sponsoring the charity poker tournament, with a goal of raising 3,000 pounds for the GamesAid charity. This charity is a new UK video games industry-based charity that distributes funds to a wide range of children's and young people's charities.
